Every year during the Southern winter, South of New Caledonian lagoon is a haven for these majestic marine mammals. From mid-July to mid-September, they come to breed and give birth in the New Caledonian lagoon. Go meet these "Giants of the seas" doing ecotourism. A unique opportunity to learn a little more about these mammals, while following the rules of the observation charter set up by the Environmental Department to limit as much as possible cetaceans' discomfort.
It's an absolutely unpredictable and breathtaking encounter where nature decides to show us what she wants. With our experience, the entire AITO CHARTER team will support you from booking to observation in a safe, pleasant and friendly environment.
From Nouméa at 6:30 am, board on one of our boat, enjoy the comfort and your coffee by setting off to the seas and with your eyes wide open help the crew identify them. The departure from Nouméa is a longer navigation but is potentially more likely to see whales on the road to observation areas.
